Tomorrow, Saturday I am teaching the first week of a two part beginner's heirloom class here in Devonport. We are going to be making the heirloom garment cover as it involves quite a few techniques.

As it is crucial in heirloom sewing to only use glass head pins because of the frequent pressing of the fabric and lace I have made a sheep pin cushion for everyone to keep their glass head pins separate from their other pins. You may remember that I made some other sheep cushions earlier on in the week. Some of my sheep appear to have fuller tummies than the others.
