Busy Sunday

Today has been wet and windy but we did manage to take the Celtic Solstice quilts outside to take some more pics between showers. The smaller baby/cot quit has been quilted and bound.

The smaller quilt measures 45 inches wide x 56 inches long. I only have two blocks left from the 121 I made for the larger size quilt.

I will try and sandwich the larger one tomorrow but I desperately need to clean up my sewing room as there are small pieces of lint, threads etc everywhere and they have been carted through the house.

You can see what others are doing in this mystery by going to Bonnie's Link up page.

Amazon have a free kindle download called Quilting Techniques for Beginners: Learn How to Quilt. You do not have to have a kindle to read this book. Go to the page where the book is located and on the right hand side there is a link to download an app for smartphones and tablets. Make sure the book is still free before you go through the process of checking out.

There is also a free pattern for a great little armchair pincushion and thread catcher called Fairytale Pincushion and Thread Catcher Sewing Pattern , again make sure that it is free
