Two Mysteries

My neighbour and I have been working on Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt called Lazy Sunday that has been appearing in Quiltmaker magazine. I have just completed Part 2. You may remember that I posted about Part 1 being finished just a day before Part 2 was released at the end of March. There was quite a bit of cutting and piecing for this instalment but now I am all caught up until the end of May. It is very therapeutic just to sit and piece. That is it for the patchwork piecing mystery I am working on.

There is also a machine embroidery mystery running and I nearly let part 1 slip through to the keeper if it had not been for one of my blog readers Robyn reminding me. You need to be a member of San Francisco Stitch Co Yahoo group to receive the instalments on this one. The first instalment on this project is is the machine embroidery design below. If you go to this page you can see their Spring Spellbinder mystery from 2012. Make sure you go to the group and sign up if you wish to do this mystery project.
