More work on quilt blocks

I promised to show you the colourways that Elizabeth and Lexie are doing for their  BFC 10 000 member BOM. These ladies meet at my house each Tuesday afternoon and work on our BOM projects.  Elizabeth has chosen a gorgeous batik colourway and Lexie has found some florals from her stash, I am sure that we all have these types of fabrics that have been in our cupboards for quite some time. They both look fabulous. You will notice that Elizabeth's  Block 4 layout is a little different from the one I sent out. Elizabeth cut one side of her block too small so we just added another row of fabrics on the left hand side to make a checker board effect.

Here are some more pics of the birds which visited our daughter's garden in Canberra last week. These are crimson rosellas. The one with a bit more green is the juvenile. There was a family of four that visited most days.
